16 Hours!!!!!!!!!!!!/I hate Guarvaween!!

Well, I know it has been a while since I have posted anything. I just got off of a 16 hour shift at work and I HATE GUAVAWEEN!!!! Other than being tired I am doing great. I had a great birthday. Anita, Diana, Yen, and I went to game 7 of the ALCS!! It was so awesome. We had a great time and got to be there when history was made. Hopefully there will be a game 6 or 7 and I will get the opportunity to get tickets again. Life has been really crazy as of late but hopefully things will smooth out soon. Going back to 2nd shift for the rest of the year will be nice. Only 1 more week of 3rd. Yea!!! Hopefully I will get my uniforms for work soon. I am really beginning to have a problem with clothes these days. I am down to 269 and falling. I think that cancer changes your metabolism or something cause I am still losing weight even after being off chemo since the end of June. All of my clothes are barely hanging on. It is kind of sad and good at the same time. No days off this week until Thursday and Friday which will put me at 8 days in a row. Anita and I are going to Tom & Christine's today. They are fixing me a birthday dinner which includes homemade chilli. YUM!!

Gas Lines, Structure Fires, and the rest!

It's been a few days since I have been on here. I have been slammed with work and church. We had a team meeting on Saturday for Emmaus which went well. I had to leave early because I had to be at work which has been super super busy as of late. We had two major hazardous incidents in a week. I am amazed that people don't find out where stuff is underground before they start digging somewhere. Also today we had a guy that set his house on fire and then held himself hostage inside with a shotgun. I really really like my job. I makes me feel good that I can help people. The money isn't bad either. I hope that all is well with everyone. Anita has been kind of sick as of late so I am going with her to the doctor tomorrow. If I haven't said it before, I love my wife. She is so wonderful!!

Weird Customs

So I went to a viewing today. I think this is one of the most barbaric customs we have. I know that most people are visual and the need to say their last goodbyes while looking at someone but this is just not for me. That person is not their in that box. I just don't understand. Maybe I am freaked out by it. If that was not enough, the funeral home that we went to also offers catering. So in one room, you have cheese, crackers, veggies, tea, and sweedish meatballs and in the other room you have a corpse. CREAPY!!!!!!!!

On the upside, I got to spend the whole day with Anita. We went to lunch with Dianna and then we went and saw the new mummy movie. It was pretty good. Saw it at the Cobb in Lakeland. It was the first time I had ever been there. I love spending time with Anita. I am so lucky to have her in my life.

First Post

So this is my first post on my new blog. I made this because everyone is always asking how I am doing so I figured I would create a blog. Now I can post, which I hope to do daily, so people will know what's going on with Anita and I and also this will allow me to vent whenever I feel the need. I had a good night at work. Nothing big happened during 2nd shift. I really like my job, a lot. I is very rewarding for me to help people. Well, I am off to bed. Have to get up early tomorrow. I am spending the day with Anita. I am very happy about that.
